The minutes of the Hall Meadow Estate Charity meeting which was held in the meeting room at The Institute 38 Church Street Deeping St James PE6 8HD on Tuesday 19th December 2023 at 7pm.

Present: Trustees Bowell, Hosking, Rose, Shinkins-Hoppe and Townsin.

The minutes were taken by the Clerk to the Trustee.

Councillor Shinkins-Hoppe chaired the meeting.

24.01 To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Clerk to the Trustee for Hall Meadow Charity Estate prior to the meeting.

Apologies had been received and were accepted from Gordon Smith 

24.02 To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any interest in agenda items not previously recorded on the registration of disclosable pecuniary interest forms. 

None declared. 

24.03 To agree the Statement of Accounts for year 1 April 2022 – 31 March 2023.

The only income the charity received was rent from Deeping St James Parish Council who used the land as Allotment gardens and bank interest. 

No expenditure had been paid out within this financial year however in previous years some of the funds had been provided to the Friends of Deeping St James, whose volunteers replanted and maintained the planters and planted areas in the Parish that were installed and established in 2010, 2011 and 2012 when Deeping St James entered East Midlands In Bloom (part of RHS Britain In Bloom)

It was proposed seconded and RESOLVED to sign the accounts completed the Charity Commission return for the financial year 2022-2023.    

25.03 Date of next meeting to be agreed at Annual Council Meeting in 2024.
