GRASS CUTTING QUOTATIONS FOR 2024

Highway verges

To mow/strim the grass verges from the path/road edge to the wall/hedge/dyke boundary within The Deepings 8 times between April and November according to the attached maps of roads highlighted in RED

Quotations requested on but unlikely to be received until January 2024 and will only be for 7 cuts per season

Riverbank

To carry out a full cut in early April, to mow/strim the Riverbank from the road edge down to the reeds ensuring there are no weeds showing. Where there are nesting birds, for example swans or ducks, the mowing should only be carried out to within 5 metres of the nest.

To carry out a top cut, before the end of April to mow/strim the Riverbank from the road edge, to the top and a metre down the bank towards the River and around the benches on the bank to provide access.

This to be repeated every two weeks until a further 14 cuts have been completed.

Woody Heights

Starting from the first week in April to mow/strim the grassed area at Woody Heights Skate Park grass cuttings may be left as a fine mulch.

This to be repeated every two weeks until a further 15 cuts have been carried out.
