The Annual Parish Meeting & Making a Difference Awards 2026
It's that time of year again when you get the chance to nominate the young person or individual and that you feel has made a difference in the Parish. Please send the attached form or email to the Parish Clerk with your nomination explaining in no more than 150 words why and providing your contact details no later than Tuesday 31st March 2026.
The making a difference certificates and awards will be presented at the Annual Parish Meeting held on Monday 27th April 2026 from 7.00pm at The Methodist Church, Church Street, Deeping St James, PE6 8HD.
Please accept this as your invitation to attend the Annual Parish Meeting to congratulate the Making a Difference Awards nominees and to meet your Parish Councillors. This is also your opportunity to see and hear what the Parish Council and other community groups have been doing over the past year.
If you are a community organisation and would like to share and promote your achievements with the residents of Deeping St James, please contact the Parish Clerk to put on a table top display at the meeting.
If you are able to promote the Making a Difference Awards and the Annual Parish Meeting by displaying the attached poster and spreading the word among your family, friends, work colleagues and members of any organisations that you belong to, it would be appreciated. Deeping St James and its residents are worth celebrating, so the more the merrier.
